Recap: Atlanta Jewish Academy Jaguar vs. Harvester Christian Academy Hawks
The Atlanta Jewish Academy Jaguar lost to the Harvester Christian Academy Hawks back in February of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. Atlanta Jewish Academy came out on top against Harvester Christian Academy by a score of 59-50. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Atlanta Jewish Academy.
Zac Agichtein was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 31 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Mikey Wilson, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
Despite the loss, Harvester Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Jarrett Brown, who scored 19 points. Brown is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last three games he's played. Donavan Williams was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Atlanta Jewish Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season. As for Harvester Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Atlanta Jewish Academy will take on The New School at TBD on Monday. As for Harvester Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Atlanta Jewish Academy at 7:30 p.m.
