Recap: Central Christian Crusaders vs. Creekside Christian Academy Cougars        
        
		
            
 The Central Christian Crusaders suffered their biggest  defeat yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a  70-35 loss at the hands of Creekside Christian Academy. While losing is never fun, Central Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings  (they are ranked 293rd, while Creekside Christian Academy is ranked 122nd).
 Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Bayleigh Seymour, who  scored 16 points along with six  rebounds.  Sarah Passow was another key contributor,  scoring eight points along with seven  rebounds.
 Central Christian  struggled to work together and  finished the game with only three  assists. They  were crushed by their opponents in that department as Creekside Christian Academy  racked up 17  assists.
 Creekside Christian Academy was led to victory by  Laila Placide and  Skye Hunter.  Placide  scored 12 points along with eight  rebounds and five  blocks, while  Hunter  scored 19 points along with five  rebounds and five  steals. Placide hasn't dropped below two blocks for six straight games. Another player making a difference was  Kyra Ware, who  scored nine points along with six  rebounds and two  steals.
 Central Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Creekside Christian Academy, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last 12 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
 Central Christian won't have much time to rest: their next  matchup is against Harvester Christian Academy at 6:00  p.m.  on January 20th. Hopefully Harvester Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 37 on January 5th. As for Creekside Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Community Christian at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
