Softball Recap: Immaculata Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Immaculata's offense. They fell 5-0 to the North Hunterdon Lions on Tuesday. The Spartans' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Aubrey Paczkowski spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits.

Immaculata's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for North Hunterdon, they moved to 5-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Coming up, North Hunterdon will head out to face off against Pope John XXIII at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Immaculata will be paying especially close attention to the Lions' match: after the Lions face off against Pope John XXIII, they'll take on Immaculata again at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
