Softball Game Preview: Frenship Tigers vs. Keller Indians

Frenship hasn't had much luck against Keller recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Tigers will square off against the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Frenship comes in on three and Keller on 12.

Frenship is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 20-10 margin over Eastwood. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 14 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Keller beat Boswell 8-3 on Saturday.

Keller's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-6-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Frenship, their win bumped their record up to 23-3.

Frenship might still be hurting after the 11-3 defeat they got from Keller when the teams last played back in May of 2019. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
