Baseball Recap: Gonzales Comes Up Short

Gonzales is still winless after their contest against John F. Kennedy on Tuesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rockets. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Apaches have suffered since March 6th.

Gonzales saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Rodriguez, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Rodriguez's first of the season.

Gonzales' loss dropped their record down to 0-19-1. As for John F. Kennedy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-10.
