Archbishop Mitty has four all-state players, La Jolla Country Day has three and Cathedral, Branson and Newport Harbor have two each.
The Archbishop Mitty Monarchs finished the season undefeated at 39-0 and were crowned national champions by MaxPreps. So it shouldn't come as any surprise that the Monarchs would dominate the MaxPreps California All-State Volleyball Teams.
The Monarchs have four players chosen to the Division II first team, highlighted by the selection of Rachel Williams as the division MVP. Meanwhile, Division IV state champion La Jolla Country Day dominates the Division IV team with two players on the first team and one on the second.
State champions Newport Harbor (Division I), Cathedral (Division III) and Branson (Division V) all have two players each on the respective divisional all-state teams. All-state teams are selected based on the school's CIF enrollment division.
