Basketball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

After flying high against Catlin Gabel last Friday, Riverside came back down to earth. The game between the Riverside Pirates and the Heppner Mustangs didn't end well, with the Riverside Pirates falling 47-32. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Riverside lost on Saturday, don't look at Justien Tido. Despite the final result, she posted 24 points.

Riverside now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Heppner, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.

Riverside will take on Grant Union at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Heppner, they will square off against Irrigon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
