Basketball Recap: Valley Beats Clay-Battelle for Their Third Straight Victory

Valley waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 40-33 win over the Clay-Battelle Cee-Bees. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-34 back in January.

Clay-Battelle lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kaitlynn Eastham, who posted four points in addition to eight boards and three steals. That's the most rebounds she has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ali Hellyer, who put up 12 points and four steals.

Valley's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Clay-Battelle, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clay-Battelle, they will welcome Hundred at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
