Basketball Game Preview: Holmes County Blue Devils vs. Niceville Eagles + Official Tickets

Two dominant guards in Jacee Bowers and Carson Fayard are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Holmes County Blue Devils are taking a road trip to face off against the Niceville Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Holmes County will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Last Tuesday, Holmes County made easy work of Malone and carried off a 61-37 victory. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 24 points or more this season.

Holmes County can attribute much of their success to Cathryn Richards, who posted seven points and six steals, and Kayeden Birge, who earned 11 points.

Holmes County was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They racked up seven more assists than Malone's also-impressive total of ten.

Meanwhile, Niceville strolled past Milton with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 47-29. Those 47 points were actually the fewest the Eagles have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Holmes County's record is now 5-0. As for Niceville, their record now sits at 4-1.

Holmes County took their win against Niceville in their previous matchup back in November of 2020 by a conclusive 54-32 score. Do the Blue Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
