Iota extended their winning streak to six on Tuesday, bumping them up to 11-8. Everything went their way against the Church Point Bears as they made off with a 12-2 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by eight runs or more this season.

As for Church Point, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-5. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Church Point's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haison Lopez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Iota will take on rival Crowley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Church Point is set to square off against their familiar foe Pine Prairie at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
