Basketball Game Recap: Ozanam vs. Christ Prep Academy Patriots

If Ozanam were riding high off their 62-29 takedown of the Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy Rams last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Ozanam was dealt a 69-21 defeat at the hands of Christ Prep Academy on Saturday. Ozanam was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-8.

Talan Olmstead was Ozanam's leading scorer, having posted 11 points. Olmstead also led the team in rebounds with eight. Quincy Reid took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with a assist.

Ozanam's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Christ Prep Academy, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Ozanam will head out on the road to face off against Midland Adventist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Christ Prep Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Summit Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th.
