Football Recap: South Central Calhoun Takes a Loss

After flying high against East Sac County last Friday, South Central Calhoun came back down to earth. The Titans took a 31-14 bruising from the Northwest Webster Cougars on Friday. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

South Central Calhoun now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Northwest Webster, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. South Central Calhoun will head out to square off against Pocahontas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northwest Webster, they will venture away from home to face off against South Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will be up against the Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 42.43 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
