Recap: Western Warriors vs. Ballard Bruins
The Western Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 103-23 loss at the hands of Ballard. Western was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 64-12.
Despite the loss, Western still got an impressive performance from Sequoia Cochran, who scored 5 points along with 6 rebounds. Cochran is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Western's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ballard, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Western will be playing in front of their home fans against North Oldham at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ballard, they will head out on the road to face off against Madison Central at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kentucky (Madison Central is ranked 84th, while Ballard is ranked 96th).
