While Dalhart's victory against Tulia wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wolves had just enough and edged out the Hornets 10-9. That's two games straight that the Wolves have won by just one run.

The team relied heavily on Lil Bird, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Hunter Trusler was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

The win made it two in a row for Dalhart and bumps their season record up to 7-8. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 11-10 Bushland (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 59.9% over those games). As for Tulia, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-6-1.
