Basketball Recap: Glass Triumphs

Glass posted their closest win since January 12, 2024 on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 60-58 victory over the Salem Sundevils.

Glass' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Salem, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glass will challenge Jefferson Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Jefferson Forest has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Salem, they will square off against Kempsville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kempsville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Salem likes a good challenge.
