Baseball Recap: Struthers Takes a Loss

Struthers lost against South Range back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats came up short against the Raiders, falling 8-2.

Struthers saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Becker, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one double. Becker has become a key player for the Wildcats: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-10 otherwise.

Struthers' loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for South Range, they moved to 7-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

While Struthers had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
