Volleyball Recap: Stephens County Comes Up Short

Stephens County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lumpkin County. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Lumpkin County this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Stephens County's loss dropped their record down to 1-23. As for Lumpkin County, they now have a winning record of 14-13.

Coming up, Stephens County will head out to take on Oglethorpe County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lumpkin County, they will take on North Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
