Preview: Hanahan vs. Bluffton
On Friday Bluffton take on Hanahan at Hanahan HS at 7:30 PM. After both teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.
Bluffton took their match against Ridgeland/Hardeeville last Friday by a conclusive 35-12 score. Bluffton's success was spearheaded by the efforts of junior Lee Kirkland, who passed for 200 yards and 2 touchdowns, and senior John Swinton, who rushed for 95 yards and 1 touchdown.
Meanwhile, everything went Hanahan's way against Woodland as they made off with a 37-12 win.
Their wins bumped Hanahan to 2-1 and Bluffton to 1-2. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Hanahan and Bluffton will really light up the scoreboard.
