Mendota kept a clean sheet against Morro Bay on Friday. Everything went their way against the Morro Bay Pirates as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Aztecs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by three goals or more this season.

They hit Morro Bay with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Wilberto Amador, Jonathan Amaya, and Rafael Ruiz.

Mendota's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three matches. As for Morro Bay, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 1-7-1 record this season.

Mendota will be playing in front of their home fans against Caruthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mendota is facing Caruthers at the right time seeing as Caruthers is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Morro Bay, they are taking a road trip to challenge Lompoc at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
