After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Ignatius, Gonzaga was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bishop McNamara Mustangs. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Gonzaga's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked second in District of Columbia, while Bishop McNamara are ranked 85th in Maryland).

Gonzaga hit Bishop McNamara with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Dylan Test, Cyrus Welch, and Charles Waller.

Gonzaga's victory bumped their record up to 6-3-2. As for Bishop McNamara, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6-1 record this season.
