Volleyball Recap: Hatley Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Hatley duked it out with Hamilton on Tuesday. The Tigers fell 3-1 to the Lions. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15, 24-26, 25-16.

Kinsley Echols paced Hatley's offense, picking up 14 kills. Echols got some help from Ella Powell and her 19 assists. Echols was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Hatley's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Hamilton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.

Coincidentally, Hatley and Hamilton will both be playing Baldwyn the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
