Basketball Recap: Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Takes a Loss

After flying high against Geneva last Monday, Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin came back down to earth. The Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions took a 50-36 bruising from the Padua Franciscan Bruins on Wednesday. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Bruins recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Padua Franciscan, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

When Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin and Padua Franciscan next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin will face off against Elyria Catholic and their four-game winning streak at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Similarly, Padua Franciscan will try to stop Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy's six-game winning streak when the meet at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
