Gray Collegiate Academy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They came out on top against The Burlington School Spartans by a score of 70-58. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the War Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked fifth in South Carolina, while the Spartans are ranked 54th in North Carolina).

The Burlington School's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Julian Lowe, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 14 points and five rebounds, and Drew Johnson, who shot 42% from the field en route to 15 points. Geren Holmes was another key player, putting up ten points.

Gray Collegiate Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for The Burlington School, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.

Gray Collegiate Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 85-46 loss against Davidson Day on the 13th. As for The Burlington School, they will be home for the holidays to greet Mount Zion Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
