Morgan County won against Powell County last Saturday with 59 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The Morgan County Cougars came out on top against the West Carter Comets by a score of 59-51. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Comets back in February, they had to take a 56-42 defeat.

Morgan County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-16 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points over those games. West Carter has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-17 record this season.

Morgan County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 65-38 loss against East Carter on the 27th. West Carter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
