A showdown between Top 10 teams highlighted the Friday night high school football schedule in Pennsylvania.

It was No. 7 Pine-Richland coming out on top with a 42-17 win over previously unbeaten No. 4 North Allegheny. Junior quarterback Cole Spencer threw for 396 yards and five touchdowns in the victory.

No. 2 Southern Columbia Area extended its win streak to 42 games with a 55-6 win over Danville. The Tigers have won 81 straight regular season contests.

Aside from North Allegheny, the only Top 25 team to fall was No. 17 Coatesville, who lost 28-24 to Downingtown East.
