Softball Recap: Sugar-Salem Diggers vs. Skyline Grizzlies
Sugar-Salem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Skyline Grizzlies, falling 18-7.

Ashlyn Harris was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Allie Christensen was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. Kambry Bartholick was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
