Softball Recap: Saltillo Tigers vs. Ripley Tigers

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Saturday. Saltillo walked away with a 6-3 win over Ripley. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Saltillo.

Meri Campbell Davis spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, Saltillo let Chloe Skelton and Avery Little run wild. Skelton scored two runs while going 2-for-2, while Little scored a run while going 1-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Little a new career-high in RBI (three).
