Soccer Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

After flying high against Honaker last Tuesday, Lee came back down to earth. The Generals came up short against the Abingdon Falcons on Tuesday, falling 6-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Abingdon this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-2 back in March.

Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Abingdon, the victory got them back to even at 5-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lee will challenge rival Ridgeview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Abingdon is set to take on their familiar foe Central Wise at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
