A Season-Best Effort from Jace Schukar Leads Loomis over Hitchcock County
On Thursday, Loomis got the W thanks in part to Jace Schukar playing the best football he has all season. Schukar rushed for 292 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.
The victory for Loomis keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Schukar's next contest is against Bertrand on Thursday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.

He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble, making four total tackles, and defending a pass.
Overton's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Muirhead and Overton will be playing in front of their home fans against Cambridge at 2:15 p.m. on Friday.
