Softball Preview: Seymour Thunder vs. Shawano Community Hawks
The Seymour Thunder will square off against the Shawano Community Hawks at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Seymour is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
Things were looking good for Seymour after they put the first run on the board on Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell 9-6 to Winneconne.

Kendra Rettler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned (and three unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, Adde Smith was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Addison Wery, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Shawano Community won against Menasha on Tuesday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Hawks walked away with a 5-2 win over New London. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.
