Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Alexis Rudolph and Aly Davis Lead Chelsea to Victory

Chelsea saw some tournament action on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Boaz Pirates 2-1.

Leading Chelsea to victory were Aly Davis and Alexis Rudolph. Davis had nine digs and one assist, while Rudolph had 12 kills, seven digs, and two aces. Rudolph has been hot for a while, having posted six or more kills the last 26 times she's played.

Chelsea has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-18 record this season. As for Boaz, their defeat dropped their record down to 29-16.

Chelsea didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Guntersville on the 11th. As for Boaz, they will host Crossville at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
