League recap: Lovett rolls against Hapeville Charter

Lovett took down Hapeville Charter 33-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Hapeville Charter made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,089 from 10,625. The advance stemmed from a 33-0 victory over Winston Gordon's team last week.

Wesleyan's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Will Anderson threw for 255 and one touchdown and Jahmai Jones had 150 yards receiving. On the ground Miles Smith chipped in 115 yards. Jaye Rochell helped Wesleyan's passing attack out by catching one ball for 29 yards.

Wesleyan's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Wolves feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Anderson has thrown for 1771 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, while Jones has 48 catches for 861 yards. Smith leads the league in rushing with 588 yards.

Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Wolves take on the Lions. Wesleyan's offense has recorded 179 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while Lovett has permitted only 134 on the year.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Wolves take on the Lions. As it stands, Wesleyan is in second, while Lovett is in third.

There should be lots of points scored when the Wolves and the Lions face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Wesleyan comes in having scored 179 this season, while Lovett has scored 61. The Wolves scored 17 points last week as they lost to Westminster.

The Wildcats led AA Region 6 in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on Wesleyan.
