Basketball Game Preview: Basic Wolves vs. Del Sol Dragons + How To Watch

The Basic Wolves just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Del Sol Dragons at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Basic is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

On Thursday, Basic really took it to Southeast Career Tech for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-22 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-8.

Meanwhile, Del Sol faced Foothill in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Dragons fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 52-50. The Dragons' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Basic's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Del Sol, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-4.

Basic was able to grind out a solid victory over Del Sol when the teams last played back in January of 2025, winning 51-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
