Fleming extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Travis Johnson. The Fleming Wildcats skirted past the Idalia Wolves 33-31 for which the team can thank Johnson, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds. He has been hot, having posted 11 or more boards the last seven times he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Treyson Kirkwood, who posted 11 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Idalia saw an underclassman step up: freshman Broderick Kite put up nine points and five rebounds. Kolby Morris was another key player, putting up five points along with six boards and three steals.

Fleming's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-14. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.4 points over those games. As for Idalia, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

Fleming didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-30 loss against Otis on the 25th. As for Idalia, they have also already played their next contest, a 47-38 win against Peetz on the 25th.
