Baseball Recap: St. Clair Takes a Loss

St. Clair's last matchup with Utica could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. The Saints lost 9-2 to the Chieftains. The defeat was just more heartbreak for the Saints who fell 7-5 when the teams previously met back in April.

St. Clair's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Utica, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-20 record this season.

St. Clair will host New Haven at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Saints' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rockets have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season. As for Utica, they will head out to challenge Utica Eisenhower at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
