            After losing to Bemidji the last time they met, Apollo decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Apollo Eagles enjoyed a cozy  88-73 win over the Bemidji Lumberjacks on Tuesday. The  victory was all the more spectacular given the Eagles' disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings  (they are ranked 128th, while the Lumberjacks are ranked 43rd).
Apollo has also been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record  this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 78.4 points per game. As for Bemidji, they moved to 9-4 with that  defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
 When Apollo and Bemidji next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Apollo will  take on  Fergus Falls and their three-game winning streak  at 7:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bemidji will try to stop Denfeld's five-game winning streak when the meet  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
