The Triton Hawks will head out to take on the Scotland Fighting Scots at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Triton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Last Wednesday, Triton came up short against Terry Sanford and fell 6-1. The matchup marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Chase Sewell was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases and one double.

Meanwhile, Scotland waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Vikings.

Scotland's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Triton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

Triton beat Scotland 6-3 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Triton since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
