Basketball Game Preview: Bellbrook Golden Eagles vs. Carlisle Indians

The Bellbrook Golden Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Carlisle Indians at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Bellbrook has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with three straight losses, while Carlisle will come in with five straight wins.

Last Friday, Bellbrook was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 60-59 to Monroe.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Carlisle over Twin Valley South in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Carlisle blew Twin Valley South out of the water with a 69-40 final score. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 296th, while the Panthers are ranked 791st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Carlisle pushed their record up to 11-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Bellbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
