Soccer Game Preview: Spring Valley vs. North Rockland

Spring Valley is 0-10 against North Rockland since September of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Tigers will look to defend their home pitch against the Raiders at 4:30 p.m. Spring Valley has given up an average of 2.9 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Spring Valley managed to slip by John Jay the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers lost 5-0 to the Patriots on Saturday.

Meanwhile, North Rockland sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Ketcham on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for North Rockland.

The victory got North Rockland back to even at 2-2. As for Spring Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-1.

Spring Valley suffered a grim 6-1 defeat to North Rockland in their previous meeting two weeks ago. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Tigers were down 4-0.
