Volleyball Recap: Cruz Comes Up Short

Cruz was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-0 to British International School of Chicago, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-16.

Cruz's record now sits at 1-8. As for British International School of Chicago, their win bumped their record up to 3-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cruz will challenge rival Christian Heritage Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, British International School of Chicago is set to square off against their familiar foe Wolcott College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
