Recap: Homer Knights vs. Wakefield Trojans

The Homer Knights's four-game losing streak came to an end on Monday. They walked away with a 58-51 win over Wakefield. With that victory, Homer brought their scoring average up to 50.5 points per game.

It was another big night for Alexandra Albrecht, who scored 24 points along with three steals and two blocks. Another player making a difference was Tori Walker, who scored ten points along with four steals.

Homer's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Wakefield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.

Homer won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Siouxland Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Wakefield, they will head out on the road to take on Laurel-Concord-Coleridge on Thursday.
