Baseball Recap: Pine View Takes a Loss

Pine View was the 3-2 winner over Dixie when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Flyers on Wednesday.

Parker Heath made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Pine View has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for Dixie, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Pine View will head out to face off against Crimson Cliffs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dixie, they will venture away from home to challenge Hurricane at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Flyers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
