Soccer Recap: Rincon/University Find Success

Rincon/University kept a clean sheet against Catalina Foothills on Wednesday. They beat the Catalina Foothills Falcons by a goal, winning 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Rangers were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Juan Pablo Torres, which was the first he's scored this season.

Rincon/University now has a winning record of 1-0-1.

Rincon/University wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Salpointe Catholic on the 5th. Catalina Foothills has also already played their next matchup, a 6-1 win against Pusch Ridge Christian Academy on the 5th.
