Centennial extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Devin Slawnyk. The Centennial Broncos narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Milford Eagles 45-43 thanks in part to Slawnyk, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 boards. Slawnyk is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least 14 every time he's taken the court this season.

Despite the loss, Milford still got an impressive performance from Zeb Reil, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Stutzman, who had seven points.

Centennial's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points per game. As for Milford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Centennial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 57-43 win against Superior on the 21st. As for Milford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 65-29 loss against Ashland-Greenwood on the 21st.
