Baseball Recap: Tipton Takes a Loss

Tipton fell victim to West Liberty and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Comets, falling 10-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Tipton has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for West Liberty, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-7.

Tipton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-7 win against Iowa Valley on the 7th. As for West Liberty, they have also already played their next game, a 14-4 victory against Clarinda on the 6th.
