It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Christian County ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They skirted past the Logan County Cougars 4-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Christian County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-18 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Logan County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-17.

Christian County will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cougars: the pair will be back at it again later today.
