Volleyball Recap: Soddy Daisy's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

Soddy Daisy dropped down to 13-13 on Wednesday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They lost 3-0 to the Bradley Central Bears. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Trojans have suffered since September 15th.

Leah Morgan paced Soddy Daisy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Morgan got some help from Aubrey Renfro and her 12 assists.

As for Bradley Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-7 record this season. They not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 25th (when they won 3-0).

Leading Bradley Central to victory were Lillian Winters and Jena Belcher. Winters had three digs and two aces, while Belcher had six digs and two aces. Belcher is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Coming up, Soddy Daisy will face off against Cleveland on Monday. As for Bradley Central, they will challenge Rhea County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
