Softball Recap: Ephrata Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Ephrata entered their tilt with Toppenish on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 28-8 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

Ella Piturachsatit was a standout: she went 5-for-6 with six RBI, four runs, and one triple. Those five hits gave her a new career-high. Cami Martinez was another key player, going 3-for-5 with five runs, four RBI, and one triple.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Ephrata kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 26 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive contests.

The victory was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 4-8. As for Toppenish, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Ephrata beat the Wildcats by a score of 24-3 later that day.
