Softball Recap: Animo Robinson Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Animo Robinson's offense. They came up short against the Animo Venice Pirates on Wednesday, falling 20-0. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Monarchs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Animo Robinson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Animo Venice, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Animo Robinson will take on rival Alliance Health Services Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Animo Venice is set to square off against their familiar foe Animo Watts at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
