Softball Recap: Albert Gallatin Colonials vs. Connellsville Falcons
Albert Gallatin extended their losing streak to four on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 1-5 in the process. They came up short against the Connellsville Falcons, falling 11-4. The Colonials were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in May of 2022.
As for Connellsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Considering they have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team also got some help courtesy of Elizabeth Painter, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run.
While Albert Gallatin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
